October 24, 2011
H2 Performance Consulting (H2PC), Inc. today announced that it is part of the Adams Communication & Engineering Technology, Inc. (ACET) team awarded an estimated $12 billion contract with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) for the Transformation Twenty One Total Technology Program (T4). H2PC would like to congratulate Adams Communication & Engineering Technology, Inc., one of just 15 Prime Contractors selected for T4, on this important five-year, multiple-award, contract to provide world-wide IT Support Services and Solutions to VA and non-VA customers. The T4 procurement is the largest IT procurement in VA history and will be managed by the VA’s Office of Information & Technology (OI&T).
“T4 is a major tool in the transformation of VA into a 21st Century organization,” said Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric K. Shinseki in a statement. “These contracts will enable VA to acquire services for information technology programs that will help ensure timely delivery of health care and benefits to our Veterans.”
The services included in the T4 contract vehicle include Program Management, Strategy, Enterprise Architecture and Planning Support, Systems and Software Engineering, Software Demonstration and Deployment, Test and Evaluation, Enterprise Network Services, IT Management, Cyber-security, Operation and Maintenance, and IT Facilities.
Claudine Adams, ACET COO, added “H2 Performance Consulting was a key member of our proposal effort and they definitely bring extensive VA program management expertise to our T4 Team. They have had significant success within VA OI&T with the Post 9/11 GI Bill Program and we look forward to working with them over the next 5 years on numerous IT projects supporting important Health and Benefits Programs for our Nations’ Veterans.”
ACET is a verified Veteran-owned small business and a leading provider of IT systems support for the DoD. “H2 looks forward to working with ACET and the Department of Veterans Affairs to support T4 Task Orders”, said Travis Goins, Vice President and T4 Program Leader at H2. “The T4 contract vehicle will allow us to work with ACET to take innovative solutions to VA and implement them quickly to support our Nation’s Veterans.”
The VA T4 services contract vehicle is scheduled to run from July 2011 to July 2016.
