H2 Performance Consulting (H2PC) is seeking a highly motivated, talented and engaging Technology Management Consultant to join their top-quality team of professionals in the Charleston, SC area. This position will be responsible for providing program/project management support for a large, complex technology system for our government client. The ideal candidate must possess stellar project management, engaging communication skills and a proven track record for delivering effecting and timely results!
Key roles and responsibilities include:
• Provide program management support, planning/coordination skills and communication expertise to the engineering leadership of a large federal client involved in a complex technology project
• Oversee preparation and dissemination of IT project communications with top-level information systems administrators, project sponsors, functional area managers and stakeholders; providing all necessary project reporting.
• Manage the schedule of fast-paced leadership to include setup, facilitate and follow-up on meetings
• Support the creation and delivery of executive level briefs and documents as needed
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the clients' challenges, objectives and program trends
Job Requirements
Basic qualifications (required):
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 5+ years minimum relevant experience providing IT program/project management support
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is required for all Program Management roles. Selected candidates will be required to obtain their PMP certification within 90 days of offer of employment.
• Proficiency with standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Rational Pro, Primavera), Microsoft Office Suite
• Possess stellar ability to communicate well both orally and through presentations to all executive levels
• High-level technical knowledge and knowledge of Agile software development a plus
• Ability to obtain a government clearance and work on a Federal government contract
