Location: New Orleans, LA
H2 Performance Consulting (H2PC), a high-growth, technology-enablement firm, is currently seeking a highly motivated, talented and engaging Senior Financial Analyst to manage a $16M budget for a Federal IT Data Center in the New Orleans, LA area, including multi-million dollar contracts and activities adding funding to contracts, reconciliation and invoice reviews.
Duties and responsibilities of the Financial Consultant include:
• Managing Civilian Labor funding and assist in the procurement process by managing all non-labor funding.
• Contribute to the forecasting and creation of accurate financial models as well as complete monthly financial and status reports.
• Create ad hoc financial reports for clients, detailing labor, travel and procurements, as well as burn rate and projections for the fiscal year.
• Analyze and reconcile other financial data, contracts and task orders as directed.
• Serve as Customer Service primary point of contact for several data center customers.
• Oversight work of other financial analyst and serve a quality control point for all local financials
• Perform Business Development and Marketing activities with set targets.
• Serve as a trusted financial and customer service advisor to government senior leadership.
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess a proven track record for the following:
• Applicant is REQUIRED to have an active Department of Defense security clearance
• Applicant is REQUIRED to have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate with senior level management and IT professionals.
• Financial analysis experience is a must, including ability to create forecast, burn reports, financial reports and cost estimates.
• Knowledge of DoD contracting and financial processes REQUIRED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize completion of multiple projects under strict deadlines, both confidentially and professionally
• A minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related business focus.
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of (3) three years Project Management specific work experience.
• Minimum of (6) years financial analysis or financial management experience
• Minimum of (2) years supervisory experience
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• ITIL v3 Certification required. May obtain via self-study within 90 days of employment
